North American Mint

North American Mint

At the time when Phil and I were researching a location to produce our silver rounds, we were overwhelmed with questions and queries. Things like: how could a graphic image be transferred to a 3D image, the processes involved to strike a round, or how would the artwork we had worked so diligently to produce replicate on silver?  All we knew for certain was that we wanted to deal with a company that offered top-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail, with great customer service.

One company we reached out to early on was the North American Mint (NAM).  We immediately noticed how friendly and knowledgeable the staff were.  They were able to articulate and explain each step of the process in a way that made sense, especially for beginners like us.   This learning/discovery process was also aided by the relaxed nature during our interactions; sales were never pushy and they always responded promptly, in a courteous manner.  In addition to these assets, we found the quality and craftsmanship offered by NAM to be outstanding in detail, and for these reasons, we are pleased to be working with such an outstanding minting facility.

The North American Mint was founded in 1986 by the LaMere family.  To this day, it continues to be a family operated business, priding themselves on quality, integrity and honesty.  They are located in Rochester, New York, where they produce finely-crafted privately-minted coins, commemorative and collectable coins, medallions, bullion and foil stamped products of superior quality.

Part of the North American Mint team is master sculptor, Luigi Badia. World-renowned for his impeccable work in the numismatic industry, he is considered by far one of the most talented sculptors of our time.  His portfolio includes sculptures and medallic works which can be seen internationally: done by commission or for prominent individuals.  Luigi is also an elected member of the prestigious National Sculpture Society.

We were very fortunate to have master sculptor Luigi Badia transforming our design images to plaster molds.  His impeccable work is easily demonstrated by the outstanding detail captured on these molds.  Both our logo and Succubus images are of superb craftsmanship.  His work is truly magnificent.

We simply couldn’t be happier with our experience at the North American Mint.  They are a professional team, offering friendly service, and delivering high-quality work.  We look forward to continuing to work with them along our journey of Pheli Mint.

Too bad we do not have a mint in Canada that can compete with these fine producers but it is exactly as it is. Well done to the Pheli Mint Crew !
