This is an exciting little limited-mintage product I was able to pick up as a Canadian Coin News (CCN) subscriber. This was only available to subscribers by phone order, and they even made me confirm my subscription number. I ordered about 2 days after receiving the paper in mail and got COA number 60. I can only imagine they sold out quickly.
The mintage is only 150 items and every one is individually numbered. It arrived in a small pouch inside a second holder with a nice little COA, that's hand signed by the publisher of the CCN. It was $49 with shipping included. It's a one ounce, hand-poured token.
I'm really in love with this little thing, and it makes me excited to order more from Beaver Bullion and John Masterson. The high-lustre polished finish is quite impressive. I love the style of the sharp, raised lines. They are a nice contrast to traditional coins with struck details. The COA number is the only detail struck on the coin. The traditional maple leaf is very crisp, and I really like the 150th anniversary logo; it lends itself well to this style.
I can't say enough about this and am very excited to get some similar items from Beaver Bullion.

Love this round. John Masterson from Beaver Bullion is really making a name for himself.
