Tomoko's Enterprize

Tomoko's Enterprize is the vision and passion of a gentleman named Dean Lorman from British Colombia, Canada. He took a path to this endevour similar to ourselves, starting as a collector and silver stacker. Please check out his YouTube channel here.

Dean is also close friends with Canadian Silver Saver. He has a very popular YouTube channel here. He currently has a selection of great products available for purchase and will be poured to order directly from Dean. These listings can be found here.

Dean has been on a much longer road than us and unfortunately a road marred with lots of struggles and adversity. He is of very strong character and will and has turned his passion for silver into a source of personal power. Dean was wheel chair bound for a period at a younger age due to an accident when he was hit by a drunk driver. Even then Dean wasn't one to give up and found the determination to walk again, despite being told by doctors that this wasn't going to be possible. During this time he met the love of his life Mary and it was her interest in coin collecting and silver stacking that got him into the hobby for many years. This wasn't the only accident Dean faced and more recently he has was struck by a logging truck which further damaged his legs and caused the need for extensive surgeries to repair the damage. Most recently a couple years ago unfortunately cancer took Mary from Dean, but this fueled his interest in silver even further. As mentioned previously he used silver as his source of strength and healing from all this adversity.

Dean was becoming bored and unfulfilled with retirement, and this is when he finally took his passion for silver to the next level. Throughout his working life he was a master fabricator, machinist and mechanic. He has acquired extensive knowledge and abilities that translate well to silver art and pouring which he has used to make many of his own tools and parts for the pouring process. He has been quietly expanding his repertoire and exploring different mediums and making some amazing products. Please take a look at some of his awesome work.

Dean also credits much of his success to the amazing silver community on YouTube, that has been so sharing and forth coming with techniques and advice. He refers to AG ENDER as his mentor and one of his most important influences. He also draws special mention to HIHO Silver, The Slacker (Silver Slacker) ,Sal (Salivate Metals)The Bear and of course Canadian Silver Saver also mentioned above. This is certainly not a complete list of everyone who has helped along the way. (Please click any of the names to link to their YouTube Channel).

Dean also shares a passion for the bush and nature along with us. He spent many years of his career working in remote locations and even worked as a river guide and expediter. We are amazed and inspired by his story and honoured to share it with everyone. We will certainly keep everyone updated about what he is up to and please follow his channel on YouTube.
