This week's blog review spotlights a new, private mint and a remarkable life-changing event where the owner, Jason tells his epic story of overcoming his own temptations, letting go of his "succubus" in life to start a new journey of family, fatherhood and eventually his own business, Agsilverdojo Bullion. He has fittingly named his story, "From rock bottom to rocking silver in recovery."
Jason's start in life was challenging to say the least. He was raised by his mother in poverty, his father left them when he was only 4 years old. They managed to survive off food stamps and community housing. As he grew older, his desire to fit in with his peers overcame him, leading him to stealing and crimes which allowed him to fit in by having what others had. Eventually, these actions led him to the wrong side of the law and began an unstoppable downward spiral. Spending more and more time in juvenile detention he dropped out of high school at grade 10. In his early adult life, he continued to spend time in and out of prison and eventually succumbed to temptations from drugs, this new drug addiction he refers to willingly as his "succubus" in life. After years of this downward sprial, Jason met the love of his life and they too shared the same succubs of drug addiction. However, in October of 2006, their lives would be forever changed. Jason's now wife, gave birth to a preterm infant and because of this had complicated medical issues. Their son spent 4 months in the neonatal intensive care unit where his condition was guarded. After multiple complications and setbacks, they turned to prayer..."God, if you let our son live, we together will change our lives and give this little boy a chance at life"...and this is exactly what happened. Their prayers were answered and their miracle baby boy survived against all odds. Being true to their word, they enrolled in a treatment program and together were both successful in overcoming their addictions.
After overcoming these massive life events, Jason is now focused on his family and being a good father, while also is looking to financially secure their future. After much research and a belief of almost certain economic collapse, his search leads him to investing in silver. Initially focusing on quantity, he began increasing his ounce count. Eventually he started collecting premium and semi-numismatic rounds as he found the artwork appealing which eventually led to the idea and creation of his very own private mint called Agsilverdojo Bullion.
Agsilverdojo Bullion was created with the motto "Silver, the element of change, prosperity, security and the only real money." It is from these fundamental beliefs where Jason's strength and determination come from. He feels strongly that silver is undervalued and one day soon, silver will break free from market manipulations and anyone holding physical silver in their possession will benefit exponentially from this, lending prosperity, security and the only real money.
His first release is titled "SilverSkulls", from the Plata Power series, 1ounce, .999 fine silver coin. The reverse features his logo, highlighting silver's symbol on the periodic table of elements (Ag). This symbol is encompassed by the Yin Yang symbol with "silver" and "dojo" to represent how these words are interconnected/interdependent to his brand. The word "dojo" is significant because a large part of Jason's mission is to bring education and awareness to silvers many attributes. Lastly, the numbers 47 and 107.8 represent silver's atomic and atomic mass numbers, respectively. The obverse design features the silverskull design titled Plata Power. This is the first of six designs in this series with plans to release the second round later this year.
Silverskulls is available in proof and antique finish, along with your choice of standard or premium display box. All rounds are edge-numbered and come with matching certificate of authenticity.
He also came up with an interesting idea to be able to wear his proof round. Done in .925 sterling silver, comes with chain, pendant, 1oz round and matching COA.

It’s apparent, as a new collector and stacker, that I’ve entered into a very interesting and friendly group of silverbugs. I just received my antique/premium silverskull today….and recieved my silver/standard silverskull earlier this week. Can’t wait to get my 4 rounds from Phelimint next week! The reverse of this coin bears a image of a seductive, tempting Succubus.
The succubus coin is much more than just a cool image of a pretty girl (although it certainly is). The succubus image has a much deeper and metaphorical meaning to us. It represents the struggle against any form of alluring temptation that may be wrapped in a seductive package but could ultimately lead to your demise.
In traditional folklore the succubus was a beautiful seductive demon who would seduce men, once these men were seduced their health would deteriorate and they would ultimately die. It's possible you could relate to a relationship of this nature where a partner was slowly drawing the life out of you, but on an even deeper level we feel the temptation and deteriorating effects can apply to so many aspects of one's life, not only relationships.
We also feel the succubus can serve as a constant reminder to understand the deeper meaning of anything and ensure we are not blinded by it's beauty or allure.
Lastly we also draw great strength knowing we have overcome challenges and temptations in our lives to breed character and form our personalities. This ultimately led us to our first release titled "Temptation of the Succubus"

Hello silver stackers and silver bugs, I just wanted to update you guys on my next round in series #2 " Recovery or Death" it’s going to be a silver round that tells not just my story but many before me , the many still struggling and the ones who have found the promises of recovery like I have when my son was born, this round will be a tribute to anyone who struggles with the disease of addiction, as every day we are losing our young, our fathers and mothers are losing there children and children lose there mothers and fathers as there are only 3 endings to this disease when still active "jails , institutions, as and Death, and only one way out and that is recovery! I’m seeing it more and more everyday and seeing friends go so fast lately and as of this writing I lost another friend just yesterday to the Reaper, it saddens me and I wish I could give recovery away but I can’t and only thing I can do today that I’m not powerless about is sharing my experience, strength and hope and pray someone I reach takes this thing serious because you can’t gamble with addiction , if it were a game you would get the dead man’s hand because it always always wins, so I am going to release my #2 round in the plata power series “Recovery Or Death” in hopes it may just may remind them that the Reaper is always waiting and don’t even sit down at the table and if u are at the table with the Reaper dealing the cards then I’m hoping fold and take your life now as a win and don’t let him cash in on another life and another tragedy and funeral, to my friend "Mike C " Rest In Peace!
