Our plan is that "The Temptation of the Succubus" will be an annual release at Pheli Mint, but every year we will be changing the Succubus art/design. This will be similar to annual Chinese panda, or Australian Kookabura/Koalas (Our favorite sovereign minted bullion).
We have held a series of polls and elicited feedback over the last month, and have finally narrowed it down to a winner. Here is the current image here and there is still time to make final revisions to the art. Please leave any feedback below.
i just bought the 2016 so i agree the horns can go but also suggest it not looking the same as 2016 like the pandas are different every year ie like no reason to buy eagles every year except to mass more silver not where a mint like yours should go

Id get rid of the horns. Everyone knows its evil by the wings and skulls and its the beauty that deceives. Horns are not beautiful
The face is missing the “Allure” effect that would draw a person in and mesmerize an unwilling soul.
I also agree with the others the horns need work. Potentially a more natural 3D appearance
Add some more detail to the wings (potential here for branding – a specific micro etching that sets your character apart from others)
Love the new design (I’m about to order the 2016 issue). I disagree with Chris Cheng about the “larger wingspread” (it’s perfect) but completely agree with him about the horns looking like antenna. The skull in her hand should be a measurably larger (25-30%) to make it look more like an adult male skull. As it stands, the skull is smaller than her own skull…what, did she tempt an 11-year-old boy to death? I worry that her forward leg is not well defined, but the casting should take care of that. It’s a beautiful illustration (my degree is in illustration) and I like it even more than the first design.
Need a larger Wingspread and better looking face. The horns looks like antenna and need to improve its appearance. I think the horns in 2016 look better.
Make Succubus look like Lady Liberty.
Needs more naked boobs.
As I have said before “A TERRIBLE THING TO DO TO AN OLD MAN” so put up a pile of wizened up old thrashed bodys at her feet. ? Should work ok ?

Love your design…..a thought for process….do an annual police coin, maybe the patrolman, the rrookie…the sgt….the police trainer ..etc I have not seen anyone doing this type of series and truly believe police and supporters would follow this collection
how bout for the new round have her in a medieval looking chair surrounded by piles of skulls

The reverse of this coin bears a image of a seductive, tempting Succubus.
The succubus coin is much more than just a cool image of a pretty girl (although it certainly is). The succubus image has a much deeper and metaphorical meaning to us. It represents the struggle against any form of alluring temptation that may be wrapped in a seductive package but could ultimately lead to your demise.
In traditional folklore the succubus was a beautiful seductive demon who would seduce men, once these men were seduced their health would deteriorate and they would ultimately die. It's possible you could relate to a relationship of this nature where a partner was slowly drawing the life out of you, but on an even deeper level we feel the temptation and deteriorating effects can apply to so many aspects of one's life, not only relationships.
We also feel the succubus can serve as a constant reminder to understand the deeper meaning of anything and ensure we are not blinded by it's beauty or allure.
Lastly we also draw great strength knowing we have overcome challenges and temptations in our lives to breed character and form our personalities. This ultimately led us to our first release titled "Temptation of the Succubus"
